Tours 2009 Season Special Announcement –
Early Season Tour We will
be starting the tour season early this year with an autumn tour.
The schedule of the 2009 winter tours will be announced in upcoming
meetings and will be posted on our website at a later date. The
first tour will be coordinated by Florence Nelson on the grounds of Children’s
and Women’s Hospital Sculpture Garden. Stroll
through the public park and view Sasanquas in bloom.

2008 (Third Sunday of the month) Directions to the Children’s and Women’s Hospital Sculpture Garden in Mobile: From I-65 turn east on Springhill Avenue and head toward downtown Mobile. Pass Mobile Infirmary Hospital area and turn left onto Children and Women’s Hospital Drive. Pass
Ronald McDonald House on the right. Turn
left into the gravel parking area. Elaine and Jim Smelley Tour
The first Sunday in February, club members will have the
opportunity to visit Elaine and Jim Smelley's greenhouses. Spectacular
blossoms of regional and national award recognition quality will be blooming
on lovely shrubs.

Kay and Ray Calloway Tour
On the fourth Sunday in February, we will be viewing Kay and Ray Calloway's property. Camellias will be seen throughout a lovely and gracious landscaped garden. |
